Snowshoe expedition

- Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Abisko, Norrbotten
Discover winter life above the Arctic Circle on a private snowshoe expedition in Abisko. This approximately five-hour experience combines snowshoe hiking with practical outdoor skills and lunch prepared together in a winter mountain setting.
Your guide will introduce you to snowshoeing before you head out to a suitable spot for the day's outdoor activities. Learn how to set up shelter from the weather and prepare lunch and hot drinks using an outdoor stove. Along the way, your guide will share basic winter mountain safety advice and explain how to enjoy nature responsibly under Sweden's Right of Public Access.
After lunch, you will pack up together, leaving the site as you found it, before returning on snowshoes. No previous snowshoeing or outdoor experience is required.
