Moose Spotting

Moose safari in Abisko

Join us on a safari where we scout for our Scandinavian animals and especially the moose, the largest of the "Nordic five".
The tour begins in Abisko and starts in a minibus to take us to some favorite places where mooses are often seen. Usually we also see several other wild animals such as foxes, hares, grouse, woodchucks and maybe the occasional reindeer.

Usually we drive between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on the place where we can spot a moose. Some animals can sometimes be seen directly from the minibus and others can be glimpsed between the
trees from further away, your guide will tell you if it is safe to step out and take some photos from a closer distance. The guide will tell you about how these animals live and cope in arctic
conditions and share knowledge about nature in the scandinavian mountains.

The tours start at 08.30. The duration is approximately 4,5 hours.

We will only stop at booked pickups according to the timetable.
